STRIVE for WEllness

Supporting Transitions through Resilience, Inspiration, Vision and Empowerment

Helping Youth Navigate Well-being, Career Transitions & Workplace Success

Today’s youth face growing mental health challenges, academic pressures, and difficulties transitioning to the workforce. Many struggle with stress, anxiety, workplace adaptation, and professional skill gaps, yet lack access to structured programs that provide mental wellness education and career development support.

STRIVE for WEllness is a comprehensive youth development program designed to:

  • Improve mental health literacy & build resilience

  • Support career readiness & professional development

  • Ensure successful workplace integration & long-term success

By combining mental wellness education, leadership training, and workplace transition support, we equip youth with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to thrive in school, life, and work.

Why STRIVE for WEllness?

  • 1 in 4 youths in Singapore has considered self-harm in the past year (Ipsos Global Health Service Monitor, 2023)

  • About 1 in 3 young people (30.6%) aged between 15 and 35 years in Singapore reported experiencing severe or extremely severe symptoms of depression, anxiety and/or stress (IMH, 2024)

  • A recent study shows 81% of 18 to 24 year olds and 83% of 25 to 34 year olds reporting burnout (Forbes, 2025)

I had the pleasure of attending and organising both the stress management and terrarium workshops conducted by Sharmain from TWIS. I must say, they have been invaluable. The stress management workshop provided valuable insights and practical techniques to navigate life's challenges with a sense of calm and resilience. Equipped with useful worksheets and reminder that stress can be managed.

On the other hand, the terrarium workshop was a delightful escape into the world of creativity and nature. Crafting my own little green oasis was not only therapeutic but also incredibly fun. The hands-on experience and expert guidance from TWIS instructors made it an unforgettable and relaxing day.

I'm grateful to TWIS for offering these enriching workshops that promote well being and creativity. They have undoubtedly made a positive impact on our youths, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to reduce stress and explore their creative side.
